The meeting of UPAPICI founders approved the Charter and elected the Board of the Association.

Main objective of UPAPICI is to facilitate protection of investors and consumers of financial services in Ukraine. The scope of UPAPICI activities covers the entire financial market, including its credit, insurance and investment sectors.

Main tasks of UPAPICI are:

• To encourage the toughening of requirements to information disclosure by professional participants of the market of banking, insurance and investment services. Raised transparency of the financial market is a key element of financial services consumers’ protection.
• To provide through its members an expertise support in the area of improvement of the normative documents regulating the activity of banks, insurers, credit unions, dealers in securities, asset management companies.
• To perform consulting support to natural and legal persons having problems in relations with professional participants of the financial market.
