Within the limits of the round table ‘development of the non-banking segment of financial services market’ the following issues have been considered:

1. Prospects of market entities interaction with the state regulators in the post-crisis period.

2. Key elements of reforms in the market of non-banking financial services.

Among the participants of the round table there were representatives of: the Ukrainian Federation of Insurance, National Association of Credit Unions of Ukraine, Ukrainian Association of Pawnshops, League of Insurance Organizations, and Ukrainian Society of Financial Analysts. The UPAPICI was represented at the event by the Head of Board of the Association, Evgeniy Petrik. Assessing the current situation in the market of financial services, Mr. Petrik said: ‘The current situation of conflict between insurers, pawnshops, credit unions and State Financial Service developed mainly due to low level of transparency of this market. Would market participants pay more attention to disclosure of information on their activity and would they possess technology allowing them to provide this information in the form clear for the consumer, - no reasons for the conflict should exist’. Also Evgeniy Petrik stated confidence on that the conflict between key participants of the market and the state regulator will be soon resolved.
